My Top 10 Resolutions for 2007

I am so glad to hear that everyone had a wonderful Christmas! We had a great Christmas, as well. It was so special to see Jenna so excited opening all of her gifts. Alyssa even ripped a little bit of wrapping paper, and she loved most of her new toys, especially the ones she can chew! I think one of my favorite parts was Jenna wearing her new Dora bicycle helmet and elbow and knee pads as she opened all of her gifts. She saw her new Dora bike, and then unwrapped the helmet, and she just had to wear it! It was the cutest thing! It was such a special day!
Now I am just going a bit crazy trying to find the best way to organize all of the new toys. My house is a total disaster, and something you may not know about me is I am a little bit of a neat/organziation freak. I am trying to ease up a little, but I am much more happy when things are neat and put in the right place! It is getting a little better since I bought a few tubs at Walmart tonight!
As I type right now, Alyssa is asleep in my arms. Don't ask me how I am even typing. She had her six month check up today, and she got four shots. It broke my heart, but she is doing fine. She is just a little tired and cranky!
Well, it is hard to believe that it is almost 2007! Here are my resolutions in no particular order!
1. Eat more healthy-This especially includes eating more at home and eating less fast food!
2. Exercise more...no wait, start to exercise. I would love to go back to kickboxing, but I hate to leave the girls, so I am going to try to go use Angie and/or Pam's treadmill.
3. Stop drinking pop, and drink more water! I know I can do it-I gave up pop during both of my pregnancies.
4. Read the Bible every day!
5. Improve my prayer life. I want to be "on fire" again like when I was first baptized in June of '04.
6. Be more patient and less anal about little things-like toys being put away and the house being clean.
7. Read more Bible stories with the girls and help teach them more about Jesus.
8. Learn to cook different meals
9. Improve my teaching
10. Go to Florida for our first family vacation

There you have it~ Like Carleta said, could someone remind me of these in a month or so?! :)

My Top Ten Reasons why I love Christmas!

I love Christmas, and here are ten reasons why....
1. Buying gifts for John, Jenna and Alyssa (and the rest of my family, too...I guess!)
2. Seeing Alyssa pull Santa's beard and watching the scared look on Jenna's face-At least she didn't cry this year...much!!
3. Decorating....I love to decorate the tree. This year, I loved watching Jenna put on all of the ornaments, and she kept asking for another "duration" or decoration! Next year, I will have two trees!
4. Christmas lights on the house-This is the first year we have had outside lights, and I love them!
5. Making my grandma Reid's sugar cookie recipe-I can't wait to make them for the first time this year with Jenna and Alyssa! My mom and I used to make them every year together!
6. Christmas breakfast with my mom, grandma and uncle-a family tradition!
7. Spending Christmas day with family
8. Going to the Columbus Zoo and seeing the lights and animals-my favorite winter activity!
9. Giving gifts and watching others open their presents. This is one time I do actually love to give rather than receive!
10. Of course, celebrating Christ's birthday!

My "10 Tuesdays" List

Well, I know it is not officially Tuesday, but here is my list. Since I am not a big traveler, I will try my best to name my top 10 places in the USA.
1. Gatlinburg, Tennessee-The "Hanky Panky" Cabin is a wonderful honeymoon spot!
2. Any city in Arizona-I love the warm weather and swimming in the pools!
3. Las Vegas-The hotels are neat, and there are so many shows to see and roller coasters to ride! They may be "weird" but Siegfried and Roy were awesome! Gambling is definitely not needed for a fun vacation in Vegas!
4. Florida-I love Daytona Beach and Disney World!
5. Cedar Point-The Raptor is well worth the drive!
6. Kings Island-I love roller coasters, and riding with John is the best when he makes funny faces at the cameras. (It is even better the one time in 5 years when I can talk him into riding the water rides with me!)
7. Niagara Falls-I have so many wonderful memories of swimming with my dad in the hotel pool and going on the Maid of the Mist for my parents' ten-year wedding anniversary.
8. The Ashville Park-I could go there everyday with Jenna, and this summer is going to be even better when Alyssa is playing around, too!
9. The Columbus Zoo and Wyandot Lake
10. River Valley Mall-Our usual weekend hangout-dinner, a trip around the mall, Jenna riding her rides & throwing coins in the fountain, and Cold Stone Creamery!
*You can tell by my last choices, I don't always get out much!
