Another Day Off...that is, until June 1st!

Well, I am at home because of another day off of school. I loved every minute of being home with the girls again, but I hate the thought of being at school two extra days at the end of the year. I hate to say that I would almost rather go two Saturdays! I know, it does sound crazy, but I really wanted to be done on May 31st! I just hope we don't have any more days off. I am hoping for two-hour days from this point on.

My doctor's appointment went well, but you might have read one of my comments that I didn't even get Chipotle afterwards. The line was all the way back to the door, and we couldn't even get a parking space. Needless to say, I was a little disappointed, but I will make up for it this weekend! Burrito bowl, here I come!

I am excited and hopeful because I talked to my mom last night about coming to church. I was telling her how wonderful Stan is, and I always try to talk to her about being baptized. She has a difficult time since she grew up in a methodist church, but hopefully she will eventually understand that we are saved through baptism and we need to be faithful. I just hope that we see a visitor at church on Sunday! I am trying so hard right now to improve my prayer life and my witnessing. It gets so difficult with working and keeping up with Jenna and Alyssa, but there is no excuse for being unfaithful. I want to be a better, more hard-working servant, so please pray for me that I can live my life more for Him. Hopefully soon, I can start teaching Sunday school and Junior church again.

I know, I can't believe we had another day off.... I thought it would be a 2hr delay!

I am so glad you are inviting your mom... Keep up the good work. I will pray for you. We had a woman leave a message at the church and Dan called her back... their family is suppose to come Sunday! :) I am going to work in the nursery Sunday, because they have a 1yr old and a 4yr old...:)
    Take care Amy...

No fair, girlfriend!!!! Another day off of school!!!! :) But, I agree about the end of the year! I wouldn't like that, either! I would want the Sat. thing, too! So......that isn't crazy!!! I understand!!!! :) We have used up our "5" days, so, anymore days off, and we will have to make them up, too!

We will be praying for your mom, too! Just think of it as "baby steps" - talking to people about God and talking to people about faith is bigger than we know! I think the talking about it goes farther than we realize! So.....good job, girl!!!! :)

Oh, and technically, Jackson was off school today, too! :) But, not for a fun reason! I will blog about it later, but, basically, he had a mole removed from his chin! It hurt him pretty bad when they numbed it and that was soooo sad to see!!!!! Us moms never want to see our babes in pain!!!! They are doing a biopsy, too, so please pray for him! The drs. say it is usually not a concern for children, but that word is so scary!!!! Ya know!?! Anyway, enough about us!!!! LOL!

Btw, cute pic of Jenna!!!! She looks like she is having fun!!!! :)

You know, all it takes sometimes is just inviting them...and God will take care of the rest. Maybe not in the time period we want Him too, but if we pray, and have the faith in Him we should, and let the Spirit guide us in our words and actions, anything is possible.

I wish so much you guys could make it on Wednesday nights. Stan gave us books tonight on our study a/b getting our church to where it needs to be. He really got real with us and we all spoke very openly a/b where we've been and where we need to be. I think God has really sent Stan to us to help us build up and b/c a soul saving church in this community...which is the whole goal of the church. I know Wed. nights are hard for you, but he gave the book w/ answers and stuff to Jerry since he can't attend right now, so maybe he could do the same for you guys. It's just so encouraging to be there and share in it with each other.

God has big plans for us. Keep praying for Pickaway and your mom and I know His blessings will abound!!!
