My Top Ten Candies...

Hey everyone! Sorry I am so late! It has been another busy week! Soccer practice, park visits, teaching...it gets crazy and hectic sometimes, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. We had an awesome soccer practice Tuesday, so hopefully Team Fire will finally be able to dominate the game on Sunday. We actually got more accomplished than just picking "weeds" the entire practice! :)

I actually bought a Dodge Grand Caravan minivan last night in Chillicothe. I am still a little in shock because I have always said I would never have a minivan, but I actually like them now, and there is so much more room. Also, now I am one step closer to baby #3, but I know we still have to wait a little while longer.

Anyway, here are my top ten candies...This was definitely easy, but it doesn't really help the diet :)

BTW-I have to give a diet update after listing all of those candies. I am up to 43 pounds now! John is at 45, so I am gaining on him. He actually told me the other night that our competition already ended, but I told him no way! We said it would end in July before we go to Florida, so I still have time left to catch up to him!

7. Sara Evans
8. Gwen Stefani...I must say that I love her new song out right now that she sang on American Idol!
9. Shania Twain
10. Jenna...I could listen to her sing for hours, and I sometimes do. It is really depressing that she can carry a tune better than me. She was definitely blessed with the Horsleys' musical talents. I can't hear her sing "You are my Sunshine," "Victory in Jesus" and "Jesus Loves Me" enough. She also sings a little Rascal Flatts, Chris Daughtry and Heart! Jenna can also make up a pretty good song all on her own, too!

My Top Six Female Singers

We had soccer practice Monday, and I don't think we will be dominating the game this Sunday. All we got accomplished were picking "flowers," which most of us know as dandelions, falling down, rolling on the ground and picking and throwing handfuls of grass. Can you imagine the frustration that I was feeling? I have to keep reminding myself that they are three-six year olds, and all that matters is they have fun. Wish me luck for Sunday's game!

My top ten female singers....
1. Faith Hill-I have seen her and Tim in concert so many times, and I just love both of them! She is definitely my #1 singer.
2. Martina McBride
3. Jennifer Lopez-I know, but I have to admit that I love her "On the 6" CD.
4.Carrie Underwood
5. The sisters of Heart
6. Jessica Simpson...maybe not so much now, but I really do like some of her songs.

This list really shows me that I don't get to listen to music quite as much as I used to. Should I count DeeDee from the Doodlebops as one of my top ten?

Soccer....

We had our first soccer game yesterday out in the freezing cold and strong winds. It actually was a great game, though, and I had so much fun! We don't really keep score, but our team lost 5-2. Now, I know it may sound like an excuse, but Miranda can vouch for me that the other team was at least a head taller than all of the players on our team. We have two three-year olds, but we did hold our own.

Jenna was, of course, a crowd-pleaser. Everyone was laughing at her, as she waved to her cheering fans! The other parents kept telling me how adorable she was, but of course I already know that! :) I was so proud of the team, and we went to DQ for ice cream cones after the game. I can't wait for practice tomorrow so we can work on our goal kicks, and then next week we will be unstoppable...Hopefully! I will post some pictures soon so you can see the young "Mia Hamm" in action! Go Team Fire!

Another Crazy Week...

I have to apologize again for my absence from blogging! I just seem to be so busy lately, as I know most of you are! Keeping up with the girls and work can be a task, and I am really trying to devote more time to the Lord.

Alyssa has been sick with a stomach virus for five days now. She just can't seem to get over it, so please pray for her! You can see in her eyes she just doesn't feel like her usual happy self. Jenna is enjoying the warm weather. We had a picnic and played at the park yesterday. Today, we went to the mall and played outside with sidewalk chalk.
