Alyssa's almost 1!

First, I have to apologize for my long absence from the blogging world lately! Even though it is summer break, I feel like I have been so much more busy lately!

I have loved every minute with the Jenna and Alyssa! We have had so much fun going to the park and having picnics. We have also gone shopping, of course! Last weekend, we went to Kings Island, and it was great! Jenna was a little dare-devil. She rode the roller coaster, formerly called the "Beastie" with John, and she rode the water log ride with me. Unfortunately, I lost my pictures last night when I lost my digital camera in the parking lot somewhere by Walmart. I won't get into the whole story because it is too long, but, most of you know how much I love pictures, and now I don't have the pictures from Jenna's first trip at Kings Island. To make the situation worse, my camera was a Christmas present from my Dad so it really meant a lot to me! I know I can't keep dwelling on it because things like that happen, but I know I won't let it happen again. I got a new camera tonight, and I am trying to be positive that now we have a reason to go back to Kings Island soon!

I have also been busy visiting my grandma in Browns Nursing Home. She fell and broke her wrist and knocked out all of her front teeth. She is doing better now, but we have been busy getting her moved into Browns, which is where she wants to stay now. Please keep her in your prayers!

Alyssa turns 1 year old on Wednesday! We will be going to Build-a-Bear and out to lunch! Happy Early Birthday, Alyssa!
