Here it goes...
Here are the things that put me in a BAD mood....
1. Smoking...I absolutely can't stand people smoking anywhere around me! I especially can't stand when they will light up right beside my girls! I don't know why some smokers are so rude and light up right in front of the door where you have to walk.
2. People not using their turn signals in their car...Is it really that hard?
3. Other kids being mean to Jenna....I know I am so protective, but I have to bite my tongue if another kid is mean to her. I know it is part of life, but I don't want Jenna or Alyssa to be treated badly.
4. Impatience...I don't know why some people can't be more patient.
5. Students not turning in their homework...It makes more work for me, and I really hate to give up my lunch time to stay in with them at recess!!! (Confessions of a teacher!)
6. Gaining Weight
Here are things that put me in a GOOD mood...
1. Jenna and Alyssa...especially when I see them smile and hear them laugh!
2. John...that is, when he is in a good mood!
3. Going shopping and having money to actually buy things
4. Coaching soccer...especially when the kids are listening
5. Teaching...again, especially when teh kids are listening and willing to work!
6. Losing Weight

#3 on the Bad Feeling list is a hard one. I don't think we are over protective when other kids are being mean to our kids. A lot of kids do not have parents who take the time, or care, to teach their children people skills, or how to play nice. I don't blame the kids, I blame the parents, but at the same time, I could only raise my own. So, just try to stay aware of situations and use them to teach what is not acceptable behavior, and worry about if you are being overprotective in, say, twenty years or so!
#3 on the Good Feeling list, however, is an easy one!
I feel there is a big difference in am child having a moment, and one that is allowed to "run wild". I have been in restaurants on more than one occassion, when the little darlings have knocked my purse down, walked on my coat, and actually, once hit our table hard enough to spill my tea! All of our kids have their moments, but some, have moments enough for everyone!

I understand totally about kids picking on each other.... Dallas has had some issues with this... I wanted to let him handle it but, pretty soon me and my possee (?sp) had to step in!:) We seemed to have made a difference.... I just hope things go better this year... I don't see how anybody could be mean to your girls... they are way too cute! And don't worry, being mean is not okay at preschool! :)

Hey there! Good list! I totally 100% agree w/the smoking! Not only is it just plain stinky - it also bothers my eyes and allergies! I cannot be near it!!!! :) I don't mind if people want to smoke, just smoke "away" from the rest of us!!!! Too often, tho, you have to "walk right past" it!!! Which is crazy and very rude!!!! I also hate my kids being around it as well. I always try and point out the negatives to Jack since he is older! I pray he never starts that nasty habit!!!
Good list! I will see ya tonight! It sounds like it is gonna be fun! We are bringing Jack's cousin, Jerod, again, so that will be nice! :)
