Hello again!
Hello everyone! Sorry it has been forever since I have blogged. Like all of you, I have been so busy. I can't seem to find time to do anything except take care of the girls, the house, grade papers and sleep. I am working on my National Board Certification, and I have yet to find time to get much, if any, of the work done! I hope I can get it together by the end of March!
We have had our share of sickness lately. Please keep Jenna in your prayers. We had to take her to Children's Hospital today because she got a high fever, sore throat, etc...I called the doctor, and she had us take Jenna to the hospital for a strep and urine test. Long story short-Jenna has been fighting a Urinary Tract infection. She has been on an antibiotic, and she had to go to Children's last Wednesday for an ultrasound and another test. The ultrasound was normal, but they couldn't do the other test because of other issues. She has to use a cream, and then in 10-14 days we will have to go back for the other test. I hope everything will turn out alright, and the doctor doesn't seem too concerned that it is anything serious, so that is a relief! Alyssa was sick last week with a virus and a fever of 105.3, but thankfully she is over that!
We did manage, in between sicknesses, to get the girls' Christmas pictures taken. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
Hopefully Jenna and Alyssa can stay healthy for the 24th because we will be going to Sesame Street Live :) and celebrating my birthday...with actual cake this year! This will be Alyssa's first Sesame Street live show so we are excited!

Cuuuute pics, Amy! As always, the girls are adorable!!!! :) I have been thinking about Christmas pics, as well, and trying to think of ideas! I think you and I have that in common (how much we enjoy pics and Christmas is right up there)!!! :)) I love the beautiful red dresses the girls are wearing! Good pick!!!! :))
Thanks soooo much for the nice compliments on the preschool pics! It was such a fun time! I truly enjoyed it! Jenna's was sweet! She was so easy to take her pic (hmmmm, I wonder why)! LOL! Oh, and the class pic was absolutely hilarious! I tried at first to get them situated, but soon realized that was not gonna work. We just started snapping, in the end, but I looove the pic! I could have tried harder to get them in a postion, but figured, this was cuter 'cause it really shows the kids! :) Anyway, I like it and I am soooo happy you like it, too! Thanks again for the compliments!
Oh, and let us know how Jenna is doing w/her urinary tract infection! I'll be praying! I am glad to hear both she and Alyssa are feeling better after being sick! We've had it here, too, so I know what you are going through! Jack had to miss a couple days of school and I hate that. Keep us posted on Jenna!

I hope you guys can all get healthy and back to normal soon, but I have to say it's been wonderful for me to get to spend some extra time w/ them lately!! They are great stress-relievers. Playing hide-and-seek w/ Jenna and today playing cowgirls (I forgot to tell you about that one) w/ Alyssa has been the highlight of my week!!
Btw, what kind of cake do you want this year?? :))

Amy! I'm so glad Jenna is ok! I was sooo worried! But def. glad she's ok. I'll be praying.

I loooove the pics!!! My favorite is the one where Jenna is looking over Alyssa's shoulder! Way too cute.... Their dresses are beautiful...
We were so glad to hear Jenna is feeling better. Hope to see her at school Thursday.... but, if she is still sick keep her out and get her well... we will pray for her too feel much better by then! :)
